CAVA Circle (“CAVA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) may collect personal data that you voluntarily provide when applying to join the community, registering for events, communicating with us, or participating in CAVA activities.

Personal data collected may include, but is not limited to:

  • Age or date of birth

  • Occupation or professional background

  • Social media profiles voluntarily provided

  • Application responses or profile information

  • Event attendance records

  • Dietary preferences

  • Video recordings for event applications

  • Photographs or video recordings taken at events

 

1.2 Purposes of Collection, Use and Disclosure
Your personal data may be collected, used, and disclosed for purposes including but not limited to:

  • Reviewing and processing event applications

  • Curating and managing the CAVA community

  • Coordinating and administering events

  • Communicating event invitations, updates, and community announcements

  • Responding to inquiries or support requests

  • Improving event experiences and community operations

  • Ensuring the safety and integrity of the community

  • Complying with legal or regulatory obligations

 

1.3 Disclosure to Third Parties
We may disclose personal data where reasonably necessary to:

  • Event partners or venues for event administration purposes

  • Service providers that support CAVA’s operations (such as event platforms, communication tools, payment processors, or website hosting services)

  • Professional advisors including legal or regulatory authorities where required by law

  • Law enforcement agencies if required for legal compliance or community safety

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

 

1.4 Photography and Media
Events may be photographed or recorded for documentation, marketing, and promotional purposes. By attending a CAVA event, you acknowledge and consent that your image, likeness, or voice may appear in photographs, video recordings, or promotional materials.

 

1.5 Protection of Personal Data
CAVA takes reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, or disposal.

Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel and service providers who require such information to perform their duties.

 

1.6 Retention of Personal Data
Personal data will only be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable laws and regulations. When personal data is no longer required, it may be deleted, anonymized, or securely destroyed.

1.9 Data Protection Officer
CAVA Circle has appointed a Data Protection Officer responsible for overseeing compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act.
